VISA ASSISTANCE
We are able to support and assist you to get VISA to TURKEY as well as to IRAN (which is not easy in the most of the time) in case of you need it. Please feel free to contact us individually and we will explain to you the process and provide all support documentation. 
MOUNTAIN PERMIT SERVICES
To climb some of the mountains you need to get climbing permission from the proper official authorities.

Mount Ararat (Turkey) – climbing permit is required (50 USD per person)
Mount Damavand (Iran) – climbing permit is required (50 USD per person)
Mount Kazbeg (Georgia) – climbing permit is not necessary (not required by Georgian  Government and authorities)

 

  • MOUNT ARARAT CLIMBING PERMIT (TURKEY)

Mt.Ararat is national part which is located in military zone. For your safety, the government of Turkey requires all climbers on Ararat to be led by a Turkish licensed guide and also special Climbing Permit (military permission). All foreign customers have 2 options to obtain the permit.

  1. More complicated and longer way – You can apply for this permission by the Turkish Embassy in your country. Procedure takes usually 1-2 months.
  2. The easiest and very quick way – Request for Mt.Ararat Climbing Permit through the tourism agency, which will organize your trekking or ski tour.

We obtain permits for all our customers! Currently procedure takes about 1-2 week, so you should send us required documents minimum 2 weeks before your arrival. Our agency have to apply for permission to the Ministry of Tourism and they forward the application to the military authorities. Permit document will be returned to you. 

Permission to climb Mt.Ararat is issued by local authorities in Dogubayazit from 2015, which significantly speeds up procedure, as it is no longer required to send documents to Ankara.

The cost of Mt.Ararat Climbing Permit is 50 USD per person.

  • Your nationality
  • Scanned copy of your passport (page with photo and number of the passport)
  • Planned date of your Ararat climbing tour or Ararat ski tour (the permit is valid only for the period of time which is indicated in the document).

  • MOUNT DAMAWAND CLIMBING PERMIT (IRAN)

All foreign tourists who plan trekking/ hiking/ climbing or skiing on Mt.Damavand need to obtain climbing permit from Iran Mountaineering & Sport Climbing Federation (IMSCF).

The cost of Mt.Damawand Climbing Permit is 50 USD per person. (You can also pay equivalent of this amount in EUR or Iranian currency.)
